Ophir Falk, foreign policy adviser to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stated that the administration of US President Donald Trump and Netanyahu is the appropriate pairing to remove Iran's government. Falk made these remarks in written comments provided ahead of Israel's general election scheduled for Tuesday, October 27.

Falk described the removal of Iran's leadership as beneficial for America, Israel, and global civilization. He asserted that the current leadership team has demonstrated the capability to execute this objective. The adviser framed the upcoming election as a decision on which Israeli leader will best coordinate with Washington during the remaining two years of the Trump presidency.

In his comments, Falk asked voters to consider which candidate would cooperate most effectively with the US President to complete operations in Iran and extend regional peace. He contrasted this desired partnership with the goals of Israel's adversaries. Falk listed Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and Iran as entities that prefer Netanyahu to lose the election.

President Trump reinforced this narrative on Sunday evening. He renewed his endorsement of Netanyahu in a post on Truth Social, urging Israeli voters to support the incumbent. The president wrote, "Vote for Bibi Netanyahu for Prime Minister; we have to finish the job that we started!"

Falk characterized the current strategic situation as favorable for Israel and the American-Israeli alliance. He stated that both nations have never been stronger, while Iran and its proxy forces have never been weaker. This assessment supports his argument that the window for action is open.

In an interview with The Jerusalem Post on October 15, Falk indicated that Israel was close to creating conditions for a shift in Iranian leadership. At that time, he emphasized that the final decision for regime change rests with the Iranian people. His recent written remarks did not specify the methods the US and Israel should use or provide a timeline for achieving these goals.

The election will determine who leads Israel as it continues to coordinate with the US on its policy toward Tehran. Falk’s comments serve as a direct appeal to voters who prioritize a close working relationship with the White House. He positioned Netanyahu as the candidate most aligned with Trump’s strategic interests in the region.
